We lost a very good friend this weekend. Jim Fairbairn from Preston, MN was Northbound on Florida I-95 when he collided with another truck. It took over an hour to pry him out of the cab of his truck. He died a short time later. Squirrel drove for us in the 70's and was a good friend. We will miss him. Blessings and hugs to his wife, Carol, and his children and grandchildren.

I've been following your Blog for the last couple of years. I don't know you personally but Bob was an intern pastor at our church in Minneapolis. Jim was a good friend of our family and my brother had called me last night and told me about Jim's accident. He will surely be missed by many. Thanks for the note in your blog.

I met Jim back in 1967 I believe. A very good friend..When I learned about his accident on Sunday from a mutual friend it really hurt. Jim was a fabulous person. In fact, Jim and Carol double dated with me and Jim's sister back in 1970. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.........We truly had some very good times.
