Day 13... No coat day !!

Yes it was a nice day finally. But we spent most of it in the kitchen making chili. Mel did the cooken, I just opened cans and sampled. :-) It is pretty good. Tomorrow is the cook off.

It just happened that our neighbor also made chili and invited us over for supper. It was good too. We got our fill of chili today.

Yesterday I got 2 beautiful orchids. One is a white moth orchid. The other is a purple. Not sure about the variety. I have never seen one like it before. They sit on the deck in front of the kitchen window.

Tonight we went to another music jam at a near by park. Not many there. The music was good but the chairs were so uncomfortable. We only stayed an hour.

Keep your fingers crossed for luck for Mel's chili tomorrow.
