Day 20...Jan 14

Hello everyone,
I can't believe we have been here 20 days already.  The weather if finally warming up to AZ standards.    It is suppose to be in the 70's next week.

I will try to remember what we did since we left so this might get long.

We left home on Dec 24th.  It really felt different to be on the road during Christmas.   But we had our family Christmas at Tom and Gretchen's on the 21st.  Almost all the family had to work on Christmas so we decided to just hit the road.

We stopped in Des Moines and had dinner with Bob, Terri, & Amanda.   Aidan was skate boarding.  We had such a nice visit.

My memory fails so can't remember much of the happenings on the trip.  Just happy that all went well.   We did get into a bit of a snow storm in NM but my personal professional driver got us threw it.  ;-)

We arrived at Wagon West RV Park about 4 and found our house in good order.   I bit dusty is all.
Mel tackled the deck.   We had it covered with a tarp so Mel just rolled it up and shuck it out in the road.  Vacuumed and went about getting chairs and tables set out.   Now we can walk in the house.

Friday fish at Dos Amigo's and was it good.   I did miss that.   No other close friends here yet so we went alone.

Pretty much spent the weekend just unpacking and getting stuff put away.

Priggies got back from taking family to the airport on Sunday.   It was good to see them.   They got here early in Dec.    Alice and Kermit arrived that Tuesday.   Witters came a week later.

It was pretty cool the first couple of weeks here.   It froze 3 nights in a row and we even had snow.
What a shock to wake up to a white ground.   I has been mostly in the 40's during the day until this week.   It was 69 today.   Sooooo nice.   We could even leave the doors open.

We have mostly went to music jams.   Lunchs with Wilsons or Witters,   A couple of trips shopping at Quartzsite.   And this week the girls and I have been to 2 Elvis shows.  ETA Michael Cullipher is from OK and works at Graceland in Memphis.   He is really good but just can't beat Brad.

Tonight we met Wilsons at the Gospel jam in Brenda.   It was really a fun session.

I might not be writing every day like I did last year but will as often as I can.   I forgot my camera at home so only have my little cell phone for pictures.

See you tomorrow.   God Bless

Hugs
