Day 82...Raining

Hello,  How was your Wed.?    Pretty quiet here most of the day.   I did a load of laundry and made a cake for tonights supper.   That's about it.

It is raining pretty hard right now.   Even heard thunder and lightning.   Never seen that here.  It sure cooled it off though.   Only 69 right now at 8:00

We had the last "soup night" at the club house.   They used up all the left over soups plus some grilled cheeses.   Our calendar said to bring a salad or desert but only about 5 of us  brought stuff.   Kind of made us upset.   That little bit was almost gone before we even got to it.  I made a Germen Choc cake.  Mel and I got the last 2 pieces.   Verona brought a pine apple upside down cake,  Sue potato salad,  Alice a pasta salad. 

Can't say I am feeling that much better...maybe a little.   I don't feel like I have a fever anymore.  Still have sore eyes, nose and cough.   Meds make me tired.   Now the rain.   I should really sleep good tonight.

The ladies in our park got a weight loss bet going.   We all weighed in yesterday and will see who can lose the most over the summer.  I hope I can get back on my diet when I get home.  It would help if I would lose my appetite when I don't feel good.   But I seem to eat more.
