Hello there, So glad you stopped in.
Three years ago we made our first trip to Arizona for the winter. We stayed at a RV park called Quail Run in Arizona City. It seemed very strange there and I got pretty lonesome. Then we met Pat and Leroy and became friends. They are what Rv'ers call 'full timers'. They live in there big motor home year around. This year they are parked in Yuma buy a gulf course for the winter. They are from Minnesota so we had lots to talk about. We kept in touch via emails. Last year we met them for lunch in Yuma. Today they came to our place. We had a lot of catching up to do. We had lunch at the Kofa restaurant and then went for a ride to see the country side. We even stopped at a book store ;-) but she couldn't stop laughing so we left right away. She didn't even buy a book !!!!
The picture is of a cactus here in our park. It is so beautiful. I have this cactus at home but not this big. This cactus has a lot of buds on it but only this one bloom. The blossom is at least 6 inches across.
Races in Blythe tomorrow. Good night and God Bless

Cactus have the most amazing blooms. They also attract red pickups. I sure hope to have mine survive the dangers. It sounds like you are enjoying your time in Az.See you soon!
It sure seems like you shop for alot of books down there...LOL...Tom
Aren't you suppose to show company the scenery in the area?
