Day 32....Already!!

Hello there,

I can't believe we have been here over a month already. But even though I am enjoying it here I am glad time is going quickly. After all, I could be home and getting my plants from the basement to the sunlight. :-)

After the wind we had last week and the bunny rabbits eating I don't have very good looking plants here. Maybe they will perk up yet. At least the ones the rabbits didn't get.

Stayed home again today. I think we will have to go someplace soon so I can get some pictures to post.

I did finish my book today. That is a miracle as I don't usually read much. I got this book free at the book store in Quartzsite. It is a Harlequin. "Crime Scene at Cardwell Ranch" by B.J. Daniels. It was really pretty good and maybe I will check out another book soon. I can't give a great report like Terri does. :-)
Just that is was a good murder mystery with a bit of a love story included.

We had supper at the club house. Every Wednesday we have a soup supper there. Tonight it was Beef Barley soup. It was pretty good.

I think tomorrow we will go grocery shopping. Company coming on Friday.

Mel got a nice little box full of goodies from Landstar for being a safe driver. No big deal but was nice they recognize him anyway. A belt buckle, gloves, a nice card, some stickers for his truck (that he won't put on anyway) and a hat pin.
